WELCOME TO HEAT!

Our heated Pilates and Fitness classes are designed for beginner and advanced students of all levels. With the guidance of your instructor, simply do your best at following the movements demonstrated. As you continue to attend classes and give it your best effort, you will soon notice improvements in strength, endurance and overall wellbeing. You will be surrounded by our supportive community and feel right at home!

 

FEEL THE HEAT

Our heated HIIT classes have an elevated temperature of 35–38°C (95–100°F) which accelerates your heart rate, boosts metabolism, and enhances calorie burn both during and after your work out (known as the “afterburn effect”). As your body works harder to cool down, it increases endurance, and enhances cardiovascular fitness. With the addition of weights and resistance (always optional), you will strengthen and tone your muscles while improving balance and stability.

PREPARING FOR YOUR FIRST CLASS:

  • Book your class on our app or website. If you need to cancel the class, please cancel at least 3 hours before the class start time to ensure fairness for other members. If you cancel less than 3 hours before the class start time, you will be charged a LATE CANCELLATION FEE of $10.
  • Arrive at the studio 10 minutes prior to your class start time to set up your mat and weights. Doors close 1 minute before class start time. Late students will not be permitted into the studio and will be charged a NO SHOW FEE of $20.
  • Please bring a yoga mat, mat towel, face towel and a bottle of water (we rent or sell these items if needed).
  • Stay hydrated and avoid eating 2-3 hours before class.
  • Please be mindful of our scent free environment and ensure good personal hygiene (no perfume/cologne, body lotion, sprays, etc.).
  • NO CELL PHONE POLICY: Please leave all cell phones and electronic devices outside the studio room to ensure a peaceful practice for all members.
  • Wear something light and appropriate for an exercise class, as the room is heated at 35–38°C (95–100°F). The Deep Tissue Recovery classes are lightly heated to 28°C (82°F).
  • Go at your own pace within your first few classes, listen to your body, and take breaks or lie down as needed. It takes some time to get used to the heat!
  • We promote making connections with other members before and after class. During class, we ask that everyone be respectful and listen to the instructor, minimize disruptions, and handle equipment with care (no throwing or dragging weights).
  • After 5-10 classes, you will slowly get used to the heat and feel right at home. Be patient with yourself and enjoy your journey!
